Family feedback is mixed but trending positive. Most recent reviews highlight caring, responsive staff and a clean environment, with one family noting they observed "hands on" new ownership making visible improvements. The staff is simply amazing. They care for there patients, and I could not have picked a better place for my husband. The memory care staff take extra time to support and love there patients. When I came to visit, I always felt welcomed and informed. The best place for your loved one when you can no longer care for them.

The facility is very clean overall, and the staff does a good job maintaining the inside. I do appreciate the staff members who show kindness and compassion toward the residents in their daily lives. Those individuals truly make a positive difference for the residents. However, I think the residents would really benefit from more activities and opportunities for engagement. They also seem to be constantly hiring new staff, which can make it difficult for residents to build consistency and familiarity with their caregivers.

My granny is 96 years old, and she often says she wishes there were more things to do because she gets bored. Our family visits often and takes her out whenever we can, but residents also need meaningful activities and social opportunities within the facility.

The courtyard and outdoor areas need attention. The courtyard should be cleaned up and made more inviting so residents and their families can enjoy spending time outside. Right now, it’s not a welcoming space, and it’s too messy to comfortably sit and relax. The back yard area is also a concern because it is extremely dry. It seems like a potential fire hazard and needs to be maintained for the safety of everyone.

It would also be nice to have more options available for residents, such as access to board games and other activities they can enjoy together. A water station or hydration system would be a great addition, along with simple things like a fruit basket or snacks that residents can easily access.

There are also many opportunities for activities that could be low-cost or even free. Local musicians, such as old-time fiddlers or groups who enjoy performing for seniors, could provide wonderful entertainment and bring joy to the residents. Having church services available on Sundays would also be meaningful. Many pastors would be willing to come in and provide a service at no cost, and I have heard several residents say they would love the opportunity to attend church.

Activities are important for residents’ quality of life, but the timing also matters. For example, an ice cream social at 9:30 a.m. may not be the best time for many residents to enjoy it. Scheduling activities at times that feel more natural and enjoyable for residents could make participation more meaningful.

The facility may also need additional housekeeping support. Having only one cleaning person for the entire facility seems like an overwhelming workload. She appears to work extremely hard and is doing her best, but adding another cleaning staff member would help ensure the facility can continue to stay clean without one person becoming overworked.

Overall, the facility is clean, but there are many simple changes that could make a big difference in the residents’ happiness, engagement, and quality of life.

This place is drab & dreary with residents rooms often being dirty & neglected. Definitely do your research before placing your family member here. Run by a man who has no experience in elderly care or thought for the employees!!

The staff are great. Good people that really care about the residents they are serving. I can tell the new team is trying hard to make some solid improvements. The food is tasty, the activities are improving too. Love it there.
