This facility needs to be shut down because the nursing staffs there do not care about the patients. Patients are on the floor or not even shower for days and there are flies everywhere. There's one nurse that is young, slim and tall and I think she has curly hair and wear glasses and works day shift in morning is aggressive towards the patients. She shouldn't be working at the facility because many residents have reported her abusing them. Management will not do anything about her because they need staff.

I'm an RN who is assisting with care at this facility. Pros: 1. VERY clean, no odors, dirty or unclean surroundings, rooms or patients 2. Friendly and helpful staff! Terri the Adm and Lisa the DON have been welcoming, warm and easy to work with, such a breath of fresh air! Nursing, Anna, Carla and Aldren, have been responsive and caring, the aids are interacting respectfully and kindly with pts and I see no cliques or on their phones, call lights not being answered or evidence of lazi ess that can often be found at facilities. 3. This would be my first choice as a family member if I needed to place a loved one. My pt here is well cared for and attended to for any of her needs. Cons: None noted. Just had to take my 95 yr old mother here. It NEVER smells bad, always clean and the staff has been very helpful. I can always get ahold of them on the phone. The building is not new, the rooms are small but as long as she get good loving care, that's what is important and she loves the food. Upgrades on the building would be a five star. Derrick and Patty are awesome plus several of the others which I haven’t learned their names. Thank you for caring. It takes very caring people to work with these sweet people.

I placed my Mother in this nursing home because it was close to family to make visitation easier which was a convenience. When she was first placed here we were warned by a resident that the staff was bad about changing residents. We went to visit her one weekend end and she lie in bed in her underwear fully exposed to anyone walking by. We informed the staff who were mostly temporary help who in our opinion we're only putting in their time for a paycheck. Other times she was fed well and we would always make a point to come help her eat.But most times we would find she needed changing. Her third month there she caught a stomach bug and threw up while laying on her back which entered her lungs causing pneumonia. We had her sent to a hospital and the staff let us know that she had been laying on her own waste and her private area and buttocks were raw flesh. We had no clue other than she was always squirming in her wheel chair. I wish we had new sooner. Pneumonia was her ultimate cause of death. I will never put a loved one in this facility. I never received a call or a sympathy card from this facility.

Nola & Jennifer in administration made the transition seamless and gave me confidence from the first call that this was the right place for my sister. I just got her transferred there today. Everyone was so genuine & kind! My sister said, "This really feels like I've come home. And the food is good! It is real not that packaged stuff. " 😀 Thank you for making her feel so comfortable & welcome. Thank you for giving her family members peace of mind.
