I visited Traditions of Hershey last Saturday. It was very clean and the staff couldn't have been nicer! As I walked in the lobby, men were playing "Keep the Balloon Up" with the pool noodles. They were all having a great time. I also saw so many activities for the residents to do, book club, van trip outings, happy hour, etc. I volunteered to go to the Troeg's "Ride the Waves of Inclusion" Down Syndrome Celebration. Three residents attended and we all had a great time! The staff treated the residents like family! My heart is full! I would love to be a resident there when the time is right!

My parents moved into Traditions about 2 years ago and quickly felt at home. When my father passed away earlier this year, it was such a blessing to know that my mother was in a safe and secure environment with caring and thoughtful staff.

My mom has lived at Traditions for three years. She began in independent living and transitioned to personal care about 6 months ago as her Parkinson’s has progressed. My mom and my family love Traditions Of Hershey. Mom has made wonderful friends here and there are so many activities. She is busy all the time! From exercise to bingo to card games to regularly scheduled entertainment, they truly make this place a home! Furthermore, and more importantly, the staff is so attentive to the needs of the residents. The administrators are very organized and have an open line of communication with family members. Although I love close by, I am able to rest easy knowing that she is well taken care of.

Traditions of Hershey has been an absolute blessing for our family. When our aging parents needed a safe, secure, pleasant, and accommodating place to live, Traditions became the answer. We toured dozens of facilities, but no other place offered the warm and comforting feeling that Traditions provided. From the moment we step inside, the staff at Traditions feel like FAMILY, and the facility feels like a HOME. Now our parents are thriving in a HOME where they have made new friends, participate in fun events and activities, and most importantly, feel safe, secure, and loved. The staff at Traditions can never replace the love we have for our parents, but they certainly try! And we deeply appreciate their efforts! If you’re looking for a HOME for your aging parents, PLEASE consider visiting Traditions of Hershey!
