The state and Medicare need to investigate Tower Road. They have very few staff weekends and the people running it don’t take care of their issues. My husband’s room was between 82-84 degrees every day for three weeks. He was left in a dirty bed, in dirty clothes. I met with the Asst. executive Director, Walker Smith and am still waiting for a reply to an issue several weeks after my husband left. I would not recommend Tower Road.

The exersize Therapy Sessions were quite helpful Especially Aimee Clavecillo RPT All were very friendly and helpful. .the staff could not be better. When it’s time for me to leave I will miss all the friendly staff for sure (I was even teaching them a little Spanish while I was working out in rehab hahaha) they made it fun. I would recommend this place anytime. Adios amigos

If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. My mother was there 17 days. When she was placed into this facility my mother was responsive, could answer questions and talk. While in this facility the 2nd night she was there she fell out of bed and cracked her c1. Every time I went to visit her, she was covered in pee from knees to shoulders. Her room smelled so bad one time, I had to open the window because pee smell was suffocating. The 17th day of her stay I came to visit and she was unresponsive, siting in a chair in the hallway. She could only mover her head back and forth couldn't open her eyes. Nurse tried to tell me she was just tired because she had a heavy PT Day. She also told me my mother's Oxygen was low that morning, but it went up when they gave her some oxygen and said her vitals where fine. While I was trying to evaluate my mom PT came by, said she wanted to do a test on mom, but she was always very sleepy and couldn't ever do her PT. When my mother went into the facility she could walk to end of her bed and sit in a chair. In this facility it was like she as sedated. She never walked there. The facility swore they were not giving her anything that would sedate her. I asked several times, and they still said she was not sedated. Pt even said she thought maybe mom had a medication that made her tired and maybe we could get them to change when she got it, so she could be awake enough for her pt. After talking to PT and her nurse and the amin nurse I realized something was extremely wrong with my mom and no one was helping. I went to the person that runs facility and demanded someone else take care of my mother and that she needed checked her out. When they checked her, they determined she needed to go to Er. Before they sent her, they catharized her, then put in her chart that she had been catharized for 24 days. She pulled her catheter out in Dec 8th. And they never put a new one in. On top of all that, my mother was intubated as soon as she got to ER, she was septic and the septic had gone to her brain fluid. She was intubated for 3days. My mother almost died due to their neglect. On the 2nd day of my mother's hospital stay I went to pick up her belongings. I was told all of her stuff was in a bag. I pulled each article of clothing out of bag right there on the nurse's station, and her Dentures where not in the bag. I asked about her teeth, and they said they would look for them and give me a call. i asked them to check her roommate that had same last name and they said they would. So, someone has stolen my mother's teeth and icing on the cake was they even opened a brand-new box of Fixodent and took half of it. Who stills someone's dentures. I have called this facility several times, as had my dad, but they just say, no we haven't located them. How do you lose someone's dentures that where in a labeled blue box with her first and last name on box and with her last name in the top plate. I still think her roommate with same last name took them. But we can get no help from this facility. For the sake of other people, if your family gets put here, visit every day and watch your family member. If we hadn't watched my mother, she would have died that night. To top it off after all this happened, they called my father and asked if we sent her back, they would do better next time.

Checked my 87 year old Mom into here after a major surgery. Although I can't remember all the names, Janice, Lola & Savanah I saw the most but all the staff were so good. Thank you! Even though I wish she'd stay another week, after 2 weeks Mom is going home. Parking is a problem so it's best to park at the McAlister's Deli (great menu & food) parking lot and walk to the front door on the Tower Rd. side.

I cannot praise the rehab crew highly enough. My husband has made continuous progress and will be released soon. I would especially like to commend Aimee Clavecilla who praised and pushed through the early days when it was hardest.
