The home itself and the staff are great. The director of nursing has absolutely no clue what she's doing or any idea on how to talk with people. Only reason she is in the position she is in is because daddy is on the board of directors. Tried discussing my situation with my mother and she acted like I was bothering her when I was asking questions about her care. She doesn't have any idea what's going on there as I believe she never leaves her office. On a few occasions I have seen staff approach her and she acts same way towards them. I constantly see advertising in the paper of them looking for nurses and aids. I can understand why no one sticks around while she is at the helm. Maybe daddy should wake up and cut the cord from baby daughter and get someone in there that cares about the residents and has knowledge for the job they are hired for.
