My sister Patricia lived at Wyngate Weirton Senior Living from age 61 until she died this past June 2026 at 66. Most of those years were some of the happiest for Patricia. Patricia is shy but made friends with a few other residents plus two dogs, and joked with the staff. As her health care needs increased, the staff at Wyngate and Amedysis Hospice in Tridelphia responded. They coached me in how to help her. Living 600 miles away presented challenges for me. The staff did their best to help her communicate and to keep me informed. Everyone was compassionate and industrious. The directors, the dining staff, the clinical care givers, the maintenance crew, the cleaning staff, the hair dresser "Tinker" and the resident dog "Buddy" all worked hard, were flexible and patient with everyone. They kept calm, stayed kind and carried on through the COVID pandemic and other challenges. I am grateful. William Young MD.

If I could give this place a zero star I would from the treatment of how they treat their residents they have attitudes that is nasty. They have been short staffed where residents were not given food on time. As well as nurses threatening to assault residents as well as had Covid multiple times and they did not let the families know so I recommend not sending your loved ones to this place
