“The Woods” independent living is an exhilarating senior community that exceeded my expectations. I had specific details for my retirement home amidst my 40 year social work career.<br>I was delighted on seeing this small neighborhood setting with individual tiny homes tucked into a quiet wooded setting and winding paths throughout. I am extremely pleased to be living in a home that is cozy. bright, well equipped to foster self sufficiency. It has certainly been well thought through with the addition of two exits. The front exits to the outside patio and the back door to an interior corridor that access’ the varied amenities.<br>The modern common areas are brightly designed with the dinning /community rooms looking out to a gazebo covered patio. A fun gathering place where we socialize, chat, read, garden, relax and play, Being bored is not an option here at The Woods with the myriad of daily activities of cards, board games, artistic creativity, electronics and entertaining performances.<br>Dinner time is a great way to catch up on the happenings of the day while enjoying the savory meals prepared by our Chef Roberto and the scrumptious desserts created by Nertila. My decision on choosing The Woods to be my new home was enhanced with the inclusion of onsite Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy, Podiatry, hair salon and a mini market.<br>Looking back at living in The Woods for the past 11 months I am ecstatic with my choice. Not having to worry about details as a result of a well honed management team whose owner is frequently present contributing to the harmony.<br>Gratefully,<br>* Mary B.

I have visited a few times during events, and you can really tell that this community cares about the residents that live there. I was impressed with the teamwork during the events and the food was delicious. Thanks for having me!!!

Moving to the Woods was the best move! This is more than a place to live, it's a family. Between the incredible facility, awesome staff and residents I've never been happier and healthier!

I heard about the woods from a friend of a friend, and as soon as I saw the pictures online I knew it was a special place for the elderly to live. Amazing atmosphere, great living spaces, beautiful outside decorations, and new and modern designs throughout the entire building. It's a place that I would want to live when I'm older.<br>As soon as I stepped into the building, all of the staff was so kind and welcoming. The director and assistant director, Janet and Melissa, are so kind and understanding. They know how to advocate for the needs of the residents, and be personable with family members and listen to their needs. Dianna, the head nurse, knows what she's doing all the time, is always there to answer a phone call or respond to a message whenever there is a specific need, and is very kind and personable.<br>The woods has a welcoming atmosphere with various activities for the residents also, which residents are excited and enthusiastic about participating in. Bingo, word searches, live music events, puzzles, and guessing games are all main activities that are many favorites of residents. The woods makes every single resident's experience unique and valuable, trying to put a smile on their faces each and every day.<br>The woods is an amazing living center, and I would highly recommend for anyone who is debating moving in. It's a beautiful place with lots of smiling and inclusive faces from staff all the time.

The Woods – A GreatLife Community is truly exceptional! From the moment we toured, we felt the warmth and genuine care from the staff. The facility is beautifully maintained with peaceful walking paths and inviting common areas. What sets it apart is the people. Staff treat residents with kindness, dignity, and real personal attention. The team goes above and beyond by not just meeting the needs of residents, but truly making them feel at home! I love that the activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned, creating a strong sense of community.<br><br>We’ve found real peace of mind knowing our loved one is in a place that feels more like a neighborhood than a facility. The Woods isn’t just a place to live... it’s a place to thrive. We are incredibly grateful to have found this community and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate, high-quality assisted living.
