DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with a facility. My dad came out of here worse than he went in. This place is so understaffed and the staff that do work there are some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Especially the Social Work team. They made me and my family feel like we are stupid and an inconvenience any time we asked a question. I’ve never worked with anyone more unprofessional in my life. To be treated so horribly by supposed trained professionals when you’re going through one of the hardest times of your life, trying to care for your loved one is unacceptable. My dad was left in soiled diapers for hours, left alone with no stimulation, became malnourished. It was so hard to get a call back from anyone when I had questions about my dad and how he was doing. Also, he went in with a brand new cell phone and never left with it. They tried to say he never had one. This is either theft or extreme negligence. I’m reporting this place to the State of Texas because it should be shut down.

I was in the physical REHAB side of the facility for a few weeks. This is a non profit facility and was very much better than I expected. I was placed for skilled nursing/rehab by the VA to receive physical therapy/rehab following an intensive Neuro/spine surgery. The place is clean, did not have any unpleasant odors and the care was superb. The staff was very attentive to my needs and responsive immediately when I needed help no matter what time of the day or night it was. Very kind, patient and respectful staff members.
Physical therapists, JEANIE and PIUS were very patient and encouraging as struggled to regain my strength and ability to walk , bend, etc again.
The techs, assistants, nursing, etc were all awesome. If I need skilled nursing/rehab care again in the future , I would want the return to this facility.
