Unlike every store and every company in the United States of America, which delivers goods to your door, the Greenwich Senior Center REQUIRES the infirm and disabled elderly to travel to the Senior Center in order to lay out the money to BUY its discount taxi coupons. The elderly are supposed to travel there--taking a taxi to do so-- in 18 degree weather. The center refuses to mail them because it's not "safe." The heartless incompetents who run the place don't give a damn about senior citizens.

Recently went there with my cousin, to help him purchase Discount Taxi coupons. He was a little disappointed to find out the coupons did not work for Lyft or Uber, just Greenwich Taxi.

Other than that, the Greenwich Senior Center seems to be a very nice place. They serve lunches for any seniors that are very reasonable price. The only as I understand it, you need to call and make a reservation the day before.

One thing that is very frustrating is, while there are multiple departments, each having their own phone number, only the main number is published. Even if you call the town hall and ask for a number for the senior center oh, the only number they have is the main number. That would be no problem if somebody would answer the phone. No matter when you call, you always get the answering machine. Sometimes, someone will get back to you within a week.
