The staff at The Village at Northrise, Morningside took excellent care of my mother in law for over 16 months. During that time they went above and beyond my expectations. They were caring, kind, professional and exceedingly helpful. Bonnie, the Nursing Director always found time to answer questions and ease us through this process. The Nurses, Tracy, Vanessa and Laura were incredibly knowledgable, helpful and were not only a tremendous resource, but became friends along the way. You can do no better than trusting your loved ones to their care.

STEAR CLEAR FROM THIS FACILITY! They dropped a mutual patient off and left him at the wrong facility MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY. When called, the lady answered and said “I don’t know where he is and I’m busy” and hung up. When I called back they wouldn’t answer the phone. Wouldn’t wish this facility on my worst enemy. If you care about whoever you’re sending here, please look somewhere else. Absolutely unprofessional and careless.

Things were fine until discharge. Michelle the case manager failed to turn in medical transport. She then blames her absent-mindedness on my mother and myself. My sisters insurance coverage expired and Michelle failed to give 48hours notice for transfer. She then had the audacity to criticize my care and concerns when I addressed the lack of quality Care and beneficence. They were willing to put my sister at risk at the expense of their own accountability!

*They did ultimately find us medical transportation because of my advocacy, however that's no consolidation. 30 minutes bed checks would be valuable tool for preventative accidents because they rarely "check in" (only for meals and medication). My sisters roommate was also INJURED under their care. *One Star* Beware and Be Involved. ** Edit** we're still waiting for transport 2 hours later, and they also released her with a catheter. **My Review just dropped a star!

Desert Willow I. Absolutely the worst facility I have seen. Nursing staff seem to be upset when they have to do some patient care. And that's when they are around. Patients barely in their wheelchair and no one there to assist. Private rooms are NOT as shown in the pictures that are on the website. The rooms are filthy and falling apart. Looks like it was destroyed by vandalism. This is a privately owned facility who is not taking the patients best interests at heart. I looked at the online reviews and feel those are fabricated. Beware and look before you decide to place a loved one in this place. Do not take the reviews for word.

Our mom was transferred to the skilled nursing unit from Memorial Hospital where she had received excellent care. At this facility my sister and I were unable to get anyone to answer the phones and despite leaving several voice messages for her care team we still have not received a call back. There is no communication. She arrived on Tuesday evening and my sister picked her up and took her home on Friday. The facility is rundown with mold in the bathrooms. I am writing this review so that if you are out of state and need to have a family member placed in a care center you reconsider.
