I have been visiting a patient there for the past two years and progressively her health has gotten worse and the care for her. It’s gotten worse. It’s an inconvenience for these women to come in and tend to her. They don’t treat her like a human, they treat her like an object. My experience at other places if somebody would walk into a room and say good morning dear what a beautiful day etc. etc. not here they come. They roll her over on her other side and walk out of the room and that’s the end of it. She has missed lunches and dinners because they have not come in to take her out and she’s not mobile. They’re short with her. They don’t like it when she rings her buzzer for help. I’m sorry if you cannot keep your staff that is not the family or the patient’s responsibility! They pay a lot of money to have their loved ones there and the least you could do is make sure that that loved One is treated with respect and dignity which I have not seen since she’s been there!

Our experience with the View has been extremely inconsistent over the past 24 months. Most of the staff are kind, caring, and compassionate; problems overall have been the result of extreme understaffing. Residents who are not mobile or require a higher level of care face long call button wait times. Pressure wounds become the obvious danger when a patient is not repositioned regularly or is not kept dry or checked on with regularity. There is high staff turnover and lack of communication when messages are left on the answering machine, and it is extremely difficult to get through to a live person on the house phone. Although I cannot speak highly enough about Hospice, it is often difficult to witness the failure of staff to follow the care plans procribed by hospice care. All of these factors add up to a frustrating situation for family members. We are hopeful that new management will be able to get the View back on track. While the price of care has continued to rise at this facility, sadly, the level of care has not. We are losing yet another activity director, and the facility director departed last Friday, without any word or announcement from management. I have asked to have my concerns forwarded to the owner, but have had no response.

The View has an amazing activities department, activities are done from 9 am to about 4 pm daily all day long. Staff are welcoming to new staff, residents and their families. Amazing food, lots of different meals, minimal repeats!

The View is a fabulous place for your loved ones who have difficulty with performing the day to day grind on their own. The community setting is wonderful, staff are amazing, and safety is the number one concern. In all, I highly recommend this community!

I can’t speak highly enough of The View Communities at Johnson Creek. My Dad moved into assisted living care in March 2026. Although he was only there for about 2 weeks before he passed away, he received wonderful care from the staff. Debbie and her team were kind, caring and compassionate. The facility is fairly new and very clean with a rustic lodge feel. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for assisted living care for a loved one.
