I knew it was too good to be true as I had already met Director of Human Resources, Jessica, before during initial placement for my mom. After calling today & given the third degree by the person who answered the phone when I asked for HR, I spoke w/ someone in HR & after explaining that Jessica I formed me that whenever I wished to speak w/ my mother to call HR & one of her fab team members would see to it that the portable phone was taken down to my beloved mom’s room. After holding the line for nearly 10 minutes, I hung up. Grade earned today once again: Big Fat F! I called The Springs today to wish my mother a Happy Valentine’s Day after receiving an email notification from the best florist in the world, Camden Flower Shop , that they had delivered my lovely mom’s snack basket around 10 am this morning. I spoke with someone who answered the main line & waited & waited & waited b/c I was totally prepared to wait forever if I had to instead of giving up & hanging up during the week/ day shift which is why is usually call/visit on the weekends. Anywho, someone finally came back on the line, took down my number, & assured me that the portable phone would be taken down to her room shortly. After waiting until 1pm, I called & the next thing I knew, the phone went dead. I called back & praise God, Jessica, Director of Human Resources, answered. I left my number again as I preceded to tell her I had already done this to no avail. She asked that I give her 5 minutes to talk the portable phone to my mom’s room b/c I have given up on buying her minutes for her flip phone b/c it never stays charged & I am to the point I simply can’t keep spending my hard-earned money when it is not put to good use. Well, I was shocked that Jessica kept her word & so grateful to speak with my mother until I am able to make the almost 2 hr drive one way to go in person again for a visit b/c I too am currently under a doctor’s care with the flu & major dental work. So, in closing, Ms. Jessica said for me to call from here on out & ask for Human Resources & someone would be sure to sent it that I was able to talk with my dear mother without having to go thru an act of Congress to do so! Therefore, instead of earning another big fat F today, Ms. Jessica earned an A+, Gold Star, Smiley Face unlike my previous post on Feb 28, 2025 when my mom’s head nurse earned the big fat F thanks for not notifying me that Mother’s thyroid test at Camden Hospital at 9am had been rescheduled before I drove 2 hours one way. Mom says she might get an hour notice before they load her up in the back of their van to get tossed around to some doctor’s appointment. The Director of Transportation, Mr. Jeffery Larcks, was an angel of mercy that day who apologized to me in my mom’s room & stated this kind of nonsense is typical of the lady who schedules Mom’s appointments & then preceded to give me his name & number to inform me in the future of Mom’s appointments to keep this kind of thing from happening again. He along with Nurse Hope who works nights/weekends used to be the only redeeming qualities this ungodly institution had. Now, Ms. Jessica seems to be one of the few redeeming qualities there. Amen & amen. His servant, Ms. Vicky (Psalm 23).
