Very friendly and kind staff. Our mom was here for a month doing rehab for a hip replacement. She also has dementia and the nurses and aids worked very well with her and with us. They care about their patients and the family as well. They offer activities and snacks. Clean smell 90% of the time. They also decorate for each holiday to liven up the place!

When we had to put my mother-in-law in rehabilitation after her hospitalization, there was only one place we even considered. We personally know Stephanie, Pam and Jon at Ouachita Rehab so that was our choice. We quickly found that not only did they give amazing care, the entire staff was wonderful. The compassion, patience and true kindness that every member of Ouachita Rehab is something special. We will forever be grateful for their service!

My dad just recently passed away and I wanted to share our experience with the rehab and long term care that he received in the last 18 months or so! Like most 92 year old people and younger, my dad never envisioned himself ever having to go into a “Nursing Home” . But when that time came he understood it was the right decision for him and even though he always hoped he’d get to go back home he never was able to. So many times we’d talk about his stay there and he ALWAYS said “if you have to be in a place like this, you couldn’t ask for a better place than here! Everyone here is so nice and helpful”. I spent A lot of time with my dad there and I have to say I never once witnessed any behavior that was anything but kind and compassionate to any of the residents there. ONRC was certainly the right choice for my dad and I’m so thankful that we have such a caring facility in Camden! Thank you to all the administration, nursing , CNAs and the food service staff for the loving care we received during our time there! What they do is so important and not easy! It takes special people to be caregivers!

If you have even the slightest memory problem or are not able to move around on your own, this is the worst place to consider. Management and staff will treat you horribly because they think you won't remember enough to report them or tell your family. The staff does not want to move you from your bed to your chair and back to your bed more than once a day. You may be 90 but do not expect a nap unless you are able to do so in your wheel chair. The staff is so minimum that your call light will go unanswered for 30 minutes to an hour. That is if they leave the call light within your reach. Skin tears and falls happen repeatedly without any corrective actions. Once your family starts to complain and advocate for you, management finds a way to force you out instead of addressing the issues. Their Facebook looks great till you realize it's the same handful of patients in the pictures over and over again. There are over 70 patients so where are the others? They are too difficult for the staff to care. My grandmother said she was treated like a dog and is so grateful to not live there anymore. I thought advocating for her would help but it only made her life worse. I did not want to move her because new places make it harder on people with dementia. I just wanted her to be treated with dignity and respect. One of her falls took her ability to ever walk again. After that, she was too much work so the facility no longer wanted her there. They voiced this and refused to compromise. They kept insisting she needed one on one care but her current facility does not agree. They only treated her worse and worse. I regret not moving her sooner but believed advocating for her would fix things. She lost her ability to walk on their watch and then they treated her like trash that needed to be taken out. I see all these meals and things being done for the employees, which I would usually find awesome, but the CNAs are getting in trouble for using too many wipes and depends! They are using what is needed to care for their residents! This should be cared about more than some party and food! I pray for all of the residents that have to live here and deal with neglect for not being the picture perfect resident. I pray for the staff that truly care but are being managed by people that only care about the money that can be made. Oh, and 16 of the 20 reviews before me are from their marketing person and her friends and family. She was a sweet person that did seem to care but reviews should come from people who have experienced care here.
