The Snowberry

The Snowberry is an assisted living community in Denison, Texas, intentionally limited to twelve residents to provide a boutique, personal care experience. Set along a quiet, tree-lined road, the home blends professional care with the familiar rhythms of daily life, emphasizing dignity, connection, and safety.

The community offers hands-on assistance with daily tasks and memory care support, with one caregiver for every five residents. As a licensed Texas assisted living facility (primarily Small Type B), The Snowberry can provide specialized care as residents' physical or cognitive needs change, allowing residents to remain in place rather than transition to another facility.

Programming is designed to nourish both spirit and body, with a weekly enrichment schedule that includes live classical guitar, jazz, and piano performances; watercolor and flower arranging classes; poetry circles; seasonal crafts; and therapy dog visits in the courtyard. Activities are updated weekly to reflect residents' interests and energies.

The community is managed by Jennifer Tyson, a Certified Assisted Living Manager with over twenty years of leadership experience in assisted living and memory care. As a longtime Denison resident, she brings local knowledge and a hands-on approach focused on building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

The home's design creates a calm, personal environment where residents are known rather than overlooked. The familiar caregiving team supports residents through breakfast, evening routines, and garden walks, creating relationships built on continuity and genuine connection.
