The Rutherford Memory Care

The Rutherford Memory Care is a memory care community in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, designed to provide a warm and supportive environment for senior residents facing the challenges of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. The community is located in the center of the Volunteer State, 45 minutes southeast of Nashville, in picture-perfect small-town Murfreesboro with boutiques, cafes, and outdoor sculptures.

The community offers multiple levels of memory care programming. The Sage Program creates meaningful interactions for residents while working within their memories and abilities, with daily programming that encourages participation in activities that bring purpose to life. The Transitions Memory Care Program serves individuals with early to moderate stage dementia who require reminders beyond personal care but are not yet appropriate for the Sage Memory Care unit. Respite care is also available for short-term stays when family caregivers need support.

All residents enjoy companionship, socialization, and a full calendar of engaging opportunities designed to stimulate residents physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. The community believes in enriching lives through programs that stimulate cognitive function and create moments of joy, engaging the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Trained staff are on site 24 hours a day to respond to resident needs.

Residents have the opportunity to select their private accommodations from a variety of apartment options prior to move-in, with suites available to suit different lifestyles and needs. The Care Your Way approach provides each resident with a detailed care assessment conducted by a healthcare expert to evaluate what is needed today while preparing for tomorrow.
