We recently moved our mom here and I visiting her and am blown away - we all feel fortunate to have found such a great place for her to have her own space. The facility is new and clean. Her apartment has nice upgraded countertops. All of the employees are so nice. And she’s met some of the other residents who have already been checking on her. While it was hard to move her after the loss of my dad, this place is really nice.

We visited Rushwood a while back and it still bothers me what we saw in the main facility. It wasn't clean. The dining room tables were smeared, wiped with a dirty rag. Every chair had crumbs and debris. The floors needed to be vacuumed. A common area upstairs- the TV wasn't working nor even attached to the wall port. The blue sofa was covered with hairs and debris like animals lived on it.<br>If Rushwood can't or won't hire a professional cleaning service to provide their residents with a healthy and respectful living environment, it speaks volumes to how much they care! No one should be subjected to living in a filthy environment!<br>Their 24/7 snack area- terrible! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?! Zero healthy foods, baked goods, fruits or veggies, just junk food in limited selection.<br>This is the only facility we visited throughout Wichita that was this deplorable!<br>We obviously chose elsewhere.

Rushwood is an excellent choice for people who need assistance. They are very professional and do a great job. I would recommend Rushwood to anyone.

Love Rushwood ❤️❤️❤️. The staff are caring, friendly, and very helpful. The facility, staff, and atmosphere is like a 5 star hotel. The residents are happy and engaged in activities and each other. Love the Restaurant ! Residents sit down, review a 4 page menu, staff greets them by name with a smile, takes their order, serves their meal, and checks to see if they need anything and has short conversations. Definitely not a cafeteria feel with limited choices. When Restaurant is closed they have a 24 hour Bistro with drinks, food, and snacks.
