My mom lived at Parkdale for 18 months. My mom had dementia and was in a wheelchair and could not get around by herself or dress or wash herself. During that time most of her clothing went missing. We had to replace things 2 and 3 times. We reported the items to the director and he said he would investigate and reimburse or replace which never happened. My mom's Columbia winter coat, winter jacket, all her pants, cardigan sweaters were gone. Her brand new Skechers slip ins that we gave her for her birthday in November were missing the next day. She never wore them. If you don't want your family member to have all their clothing taken than I suggest you take them somewhere else.

The facility and staff give impeccable care to the residents. It has been uplifting to see the focus of their residents start with compassion and kindness. I have personally witnessed care across the state as a hospice administrator and this facility has exceeded any expectations I could have. The human kindness a lot of us have witnessed as being lost often in other places, is refreshing and admirable. My staff cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility.
