do not listen to ppl saying the staff is attentive. they forget to order IMPORTANT MEDICINE and fail to give it on time even when it is ordered. they give horrible food and underfeed the residents. mistreats the people there constantly. my mother is in there and ive witnissed alot of it first hand. there are some kind staff but it doesnt outweigh the bad stuff. seriously get some new staff.

This place is very filthy they had poop and blood all on the floor, they tried to make my grandma wear the clothes that she wore to the hospital to bed.

Stay away from this place. Patience strung me along last year for weeks, promised me pics and recordings of the noise and sounds of a unit opening up. She never did. She was supposed to come up and see my place and what I had, she failed. She went on vacation instead. When I called her on it, she played dumb deaf stupid and idiot, WITH LAME APOLOGIES. She proved she wasn’t capable, competent responsible or professional. I talked to Tammy and told her everything, another lame apology. Since then I heard this place shouldn’t be anyones first choice from other places. Look elsewhere people!

upon arrival at the Merriman on this past Saturday to visit my friend, my first impression was three staff. People hogging the front desk two were sitting on the desk. One behind the desk could not access the sign in book. The stench of the facility was offensive and very strong resident sitting in chairs all over the facility. Floors were dirty, had not been mopped. It appeared for days my friends room was deplorable. Her floor was dirty dirt stains, where it had not been mopped in apparently in days or even weeks there was no paper towel in the paper dispenser. Her bed did not look like it had been changed. She did not smell good. The furnishings in the facility is beaten up should be replaced. The wheelchair was dirty with urine and I had no place to sit in her room. The furniture is beat up taped chipped downright depressing. upon arrival at my friends room, the aid was there to assist her with eating and sitting her up, promise to go and get help and never return with the help. I sat there for an hour, and she never returned with the help so I assisted my friend to an upright position and moved her tray in front of her so she could have lunch. I would do that for my friend wherever she was, but to think that the staff never returned with the help she promised her is very sad and discouraging.Staff and management should do their job and make that place a better place for residents, I felt sorry for the residents that have to be there and the lack of care attention they are receiving. I wanted to take pictures, but I did not want to upset my friend because she had no other choice, but to be there

We found our Dad in a wheelchair, isolated in a dark room alone, and confused because he had covid. WE had to call the ambulance. He was near death and no one called us. NO ONE CALLED. We thought he was dying and we couldn't see him. But, God gave us a miracle and they treated his Covid, and we could see him. They also told us his internal injuries could have been from the fall experienced recently. Which would explain his unwillingness to get out of bed. I also had to fight with the staff to make sure he had his meds. His family was there EVERYDAY. Why did his wife walk in find him and find him sprawled across the bed, soaked in urine? How did an Alzheimers Patient escape and freeze to death when they didn't know she was missing?
