The Meadows

Benedictine Living Community–The Meadows is an assisted living community in Garrison, North Dakota, operated as a faith-based retirement community. The community provides respectful, dignified care designed to help residents maintain their maximum level of independence while remaining close to family and friends.

Care services include personalized assistance with daily activities such as medication management, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. A licensed nurse is on staff 24/7 dedicated to the assisted living community. Additional services include medical assistance, spiritual care, recreational and social activities, and transportation. Veterans and spouses of veterans may qualify for specialized veteran assisted living services.

The Meadows comprises 18 residents, offering spacious one- or two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and bright, open floor plans. Common spaces include a dining room, chapel, activity room, fitness center with exercise equipment, library, and social lounge with fireplace and pool table. A thoughtfully planned schedule of entertainment, social, educational, and recreational programming is provided, along with weekly Catholic mass, interfaith worship, and Bible study.

The community offers all-inclusive assisted living rent that covers apartments, utilities through common spaces, 24/7 care staff for safety and health needs, and personalized care services. Residents receive priority access to a full continuum of senior living support and skilled nursing care at Benedictine Care Community if needed.

Guests, including grandchildren, family, and friends, are welcome to visit and use recreational facilities and dining venues. Most Benedictine communities are pet-friendly and welcome dogs, cats, birds, and fish upon approval through the Pet Admissions Program; all communities accept service dogs and certified companion animals. While residents may bring a car, the community provides transportation options.
