I went to visit a friend and I was pleasantly surprised immediately with the Legacy Rehab. The grounds are clean and well manicured which just carries on into the courtyard and reception area. The facility itself is also clean and bright and well decorating feeling comforting right away. The staff seems to be efficient and friendly. The Halls were free of clutter and bedding like I have seen another rehab & care centers. I was not looking forward to going because in my experience past rehab centers have been depressing to me. They have been not well kept, have an unpleasant odor, with debris in the hallways from bedding or flipping rooms. I have experience very noisy rehab centers which in my opinion does not warrant the best healing environment. The legacy is NONE of those things. The Halls are quiet. The staff is easy to identify in matching colors of their scrubs which adds the professional touch you are looking for when they are caring for your loved ones. I would like to point out Nikki from the kitchen and dietary team. She was an absolute delight. I had walked to use the public restroom up front and I heard her great every patient with a personal hello and while delivering their mail she was delivering a smile and a genuine interest in her patients. It truly made my heart happy to hear her light up their room. I overheard patients voices and moods lift when she was speaking with them. When she came in to deliver my loved ones meal I got to witness firsthand this amazing woman. I told her that she is a breath of fresh air and lights up the whole place. I could tell wholeheartedly that she truly loves her job and cares for her patients. She didn't do it because somebody was watching she didn't do it because she knew I was in the hall she did it consistently with each one of her patients dinner delivery. That is who she is and she is a huge asset to the team. Nikki continue being you, you make the world a better place. Thank you for being an angel.

My husband was sent to Legacy from the VA hospital in Las Vegas. He arrived August and is being released, October 13th. The treatment he received was excellent! Every person he came in contact with was professional, attentive and kind. The food was decent, the facility is clean. Upper management is accessible. Any concerns where handled, and if they didn't have the answer they would get it. I thank all the staff for making a difficult situation bearable.

I was just released from there a week ago after coming from a hospital in Vegas. The nurses were great, the PT team was outstanding. I could not stand or walk when I got there. I was up walking and out in four days. The only reason I give it a four is because the place needs to add more staff at night. Those poor nurses were going crazy trying take care of all those patients all by themselves. Legacy you need more night staff.

We highly recommend Legacy Rehab and Care Center, Bullhead city. My mom spent the last six months of her life here. We received outstanding care from the first day. The staff was very caring and compassionate. The facility was clean all the time thanks to workers like Carmen. The food was very good. We cannot say enough about the nursing and support staff. Amy in activities was very involved with my mom. Supervisor PA Sam was very helpful, easy to speak with and answered all our questions. The nurses, Joy, Juanita and Tonya were outstanding and kept us informed of my mom’s condition. Nursing Aide Nichole was always very helpful. And my mom’s favorite Physical Therapist Paula went above and beyond to make sure my mom was comfortable. We know we haven’t named everyone who was involved in my mom’s care, but all your efforts will never be forgotten. You all are very special people. Praise for The Legacy Rehab - Following her hip surgery, my mother-in-law stayed at The Legacy for just over two weeks. Initially, we felt a bit uneasy due to the negative reviews we had encountered, but we faced limited alternatives. Our worries were quickly dispelled. The facility was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Every staff member was professional, kind, compassionate, and friendly. Visiting at various times, I was consistently greeted with smiles and warmth. Her care was exemplary. Nurses, CNAs, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians, environmental staff, groundskeepers, drivers, and especially Destiny, the social worker, made us feel like we were their priority. Observing the same level of care extended to other residents as if they were family was heartwarming . The quality of care exceeded our expectations, and even my mother-in-law praised the meals. I cannot recommend this facility highly enough. Our deepest gratitude to everyone for the exceptional care provided to my mother-in-law.
