They were very attentive to my father. He was always clean and didn’t smell. The food was appetizing. The laundry was done instead of having a lockdown memory unit. They kept the outdoors, locked and access to an atrium available anytime the patients wanted to smell fresh air. It was very comfortable. The staff was personable.

I love being here, they have the sweetest staff everyone treats me like family and I feel the love. The nurses are the best ever and take very good care of me. Everyone including the office staff knows you by name and shows love. April is the best she goes above and beyond the call of duty she does everything she can for you and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy and involved, the activity staff is awesome too. Laurel of Forest Glen has been a God send to me.

My family’s experience with The Laurels of Forest Glenn has been extremely disappointing. During my mother-in-law’s stay, some of her personal belongings went missing, and we have strong reason to believe they were taken by a member of the staff. When we brought this up, it was not handled with the urgency or respect the situation deserved. In addition, the level of care she received was far below what we expected. She often appeared neglected and uncomfortable, and it felt like staff were either overworked or simply not attentive. For a place that advertises compassionate care, our experience was the opposite. I would strongly encourage families to think carefully before placing a loved one here. Trust and proper care should be the top priorities in any facility — unfortunately, we did not find that to be the case at The Laurels of Forest Glenn.

This was my dad's second rehab facility in as many months. I found this place to be proactive, caring, and very responsive. Sometimes a little stinky around changing time, but at least folks were getting changed regularly. The administration staff was awesome, especially Abby, and the nursing staff was definitely on top of things. Even the PT folks were engaging and encouraging to my dad. Definitely recommend, but as always, patients always do better when the family visits often and advocates for them. Luckily the staff was welcoming and encouraged our involvement.

From the moment my mother became a patient/resident at LAURELS, she was welcomed immediately and warmly. The facility is extremely clean and maintained. The outdoor sitting areas for patients and visitors is wonderful. The food was very tasteful. OT & PT are amazing was very good !!! I'm not sure why they have an overall rating of 1/5 stars because that is VERY INACCURATE. Staffing is very efficient during the day and like any other place/business, it's lower in the evening. That has nothing to do with the facility but the healthcare system in general. The LAURELS is so easy to get to and in a wonderful location where grocery/food locations are right around the corner. The nursing staff always greeted my mother (and me) with a smile and full compassionate care. From the custodial staff to food services to social care (Abby G) to OT (JD & Paul) and nurses (Paula, Priscilla, Dawn, Marilyn) they are on top of their game. IF we ever have to have rehab services again in a facility, we WILL go back there !!!
