We were at the laurels rehab after fall and surgery, we were treated with respect and very good care was received during my stay. I experienced a good recovery. The staff understood me and my needs. Thanks Judy m Burris

I came here to the Laurels of Chatham for rehab. I received patience, compassion and kindness. The therapists helped me progress so much. I am so grateful and thankful for their expertise on my road to wellness. And kudos to Monica and Norine who went above and beyond.

I recently had the experience of having my mom in this facility for a period of a little over 2 months, after a serious stroke she suffered. While Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) are never a pleasant experience, I can say without a doubt that the staff at LoC were exceptional. And I mean that from top to bottom - the CNA’s, the nurses, the doctor, the therapists (physical, speech and OT), the business manager, the social worker (special shout out to Samantha!), and even the housekeeping person, who was always friendly and went out of her way to say ‘Hello’ every time she saw me in the hall. They were very attentive to my mom’s needs, but equally important, they were attentive to my needs (which was primarily for information on her recovery process so that I could make informed decisions on where she might go upon discharge). Eventually when insurance coverage was denied they helped through the medicare appeals process (which was approved both times I appealed). Overall, while it was under tremendously stressful circumstances for me, I could not have been more pleased and appreciative of all of the staff at Laurels of Chatham.

My dad recently required skilled nursing rehab after a hospital stay. I quickly learned after he arrived at The Laurels that they are staffed with kind, knowledgeable and caring individuals. The nurses, CNAs, and rehab staff, as well as the administrative support staff and all behind the scenes staff proved to be committed to providing the best care for their residents. It was easy to get questions answered and concerns addressed if the need arose. The rehab staff was great and always encouraged my dad. He was soon motivated and looked forward to working in the rehab room with other residents. We are grateful for the care he received at The Laurels of Chatham.

My mom was a patient here for 2+ months while recovering from a fall and sepsis. The therapy team was AMAZING and thankfully, she's regained some mobility. The entire staff was caring and compassionate and very attentive. The facility was always clean. I love how the admin staff was always readily available to answer my many questions or to provide guidance. I would gladly give 5 stars except the meals were not star worthy at all. Thankfully, I live close enough to bring meals to my mom. I don't regret choosing the Laurels for my mom's recovery at all!
