My mom has been very happy at Northern Hills - “They are so good to me here.” -Is a frequent comment I hear from her.
It is bright and cheery with lots of activities for the residents. Rhonda has been very accommodating to any special needs that my mom has come up.
Her only complaint is the food - I’ve been assured they are working on that.
I couldn’t be more pleased!

I would like to update my review to include a special shout out to Rhonda who continues to go over and above to help my mom. I live out of state - Rhonda has been a Godsend on many occasions!!!

My grandmother was extremely reluctant to leave her home. When we knew she could no longer live independently, we toured several places in Sioux City. She cried after leaving each place - except for Heritage. We completed the tour, and actually stayed for a while after to chat with the staff! Heritage has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The facility and grounds are clean and well-maintained. All of the staff members are wonderful, and we always felt like my grandmother was being well taken care of. We will be forever grateful that she was able to spend time here, where we knew she was safe and so well cared for. They foster a wonderful sense of community, and she loved spending time in the common areas - even though she wasn't able to communicate very well. She still loved being around all of the people, and we know she was very happy there.

Our experience with Nissan at the Heritage was amazing. There was a welcome sign with our names on it in the lobby as we arrived and Nissan also handed us a beautiful welcome gift. She was so professional and welcoming. When it comes time for my mom to transition to assisted living, we’ll be sure she goes to The Heritage mainly because I know she’ll be in good hands with Nissan & company.
