They really do care. They are taking great care of my mother. I was surprised at the cleanliness of her room and the attention they give her. Very nice place and very nice people.

I lived in the arcola health care center for over seven years on the psychiatric side (the south side). It was a descent place to live as nursing homes go. I was never mistreated but found I was a virtual prisoner because of lack of staff to take me and the other residents outside on nice days. Our movements were very guarded and I always felt safe there. The staff were very kind to me. I do not regret having lived there even with the restrictions.
