Very difficult getting special diet, medication ordered by my doctor not given .I am having to wear a colostomy bag and it’s vital I can’t eat certain foods while I heal .Thank you. for helping me

The nurses did a wonderful job taking care of mom(Yoneko Lueder) from her stroke and her falls. and socializing with patient ànd nurses

Unfortunately, I have experience with 6 or 7 other care facilities involving my family members and The Grove Care and Wellness Center in Riverside is by far the best, professional staff and clean environment. From the receptionist as you enter the door, to 2nd floor nursing team, and whole crew in therapy they are friendly, courteous and respectful of the patients and residents... Thank you to everyone there working to help my brother heal and get stronger.

The Rehab 2nd floor is very clean. My mom was recovering from allergic reaction to bleach in the sheets from the hospital and she needed to get strong enough with PT to go home after laying in bed at the hospital for 7 days. She loved PT. But she had to have transportation to her Dialysis center and they transported her there, but never arranged return transportation back to the Grove.My mom is 85 and she was scared and felt abandoned, I had to pick her up at 5:45pm when it was dark!! Secondly, my Mom began to have chest pains and shortness of breath several times when we were there. I was told by the nurse they would take a Chest X-ray to see if there was a problem. Last night she was rushed to the hospital with her lungs 100% full of fluid and and unable to breathe. I believe this should have been caught by the Grove before it became Life threatening. I had to ask them to do everything for her. I would not send anyone there. The lady next to my mom has lung disease and she ran out of oxygen during the night. The nurse came into the lady's room and asked her at least two times if there is anything she needed to let her know, but she never checked her oxygen! The lady is older than my mom, and she was only moaning in panic.
