Absolutely the best independent living place for our mom. Every staff person focuses on her needs and makes her feel welcome and respected, including the in-house social worker, the dining room staff, the salon staff, the caregiving and therapy services by Georgetown Living Home Health, which has an office at the Delaney. We are so thankful to have found this place and we highly recommend!

What sets The Delaney apart from other facilities is the sense of community and family they have. You "feel" it as soon as you walk in the door. Remember the saying that it takes a village to raise a child. Well it also takes a village to aid seniors age with dignity. That's what The Delaney has. Every facility's shell is made up of brick and mortar. Every facility will have events for residents. When you dig a little below the surface, that's where you'll see how The Delaney's staff transforms their facility into a home. They create the environment that helps your loved one thrive. The actions of the staff, every single day, show a deep level of commitment toward maintaining a strong atmosphere of community and caring. The Delaney also has a well coordinated, integrated care model designed for flexibility. Not everyone needs the same level of service and care and The Delaney delivers by offering whatever level of service you need. Highly recommend this facility.

I’ve been playing music events at The Delaney for over 2 years now. The residents are a great group of folks who really enjoy the events. The staff is great and very attentive and engaging to both the residents and the artists. It’s a lovely senior living residence and I hope I get to play there for many years to come! I had a wonderful experience recently at the Delaney in Georgetown. I visited and provided music to the residents in the Memory Center. The residents were delightful and were very engaging and seemed to be having a great time. The facility is in a beautiful location, and was clean, spotless and very organized. The staff was very attentive to the residents, and were constantly on the go, to ensure all their needs were met. I look forward to returning routinely to visit my friends at the Delaney.

We placed our parents in The Delaney in Georgetown two months ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they are receiving. This memory care community has exceeded our expectations in every way. The leadership and staff are truly outstanding. Shannan, the Memory Care Director, sets such a positive and professional tone for the entire unit. Her leadership is clearly felt in the compassionate atmosphere. Amanda, Director of Health Services, has been wonderful — attentive, knowledgeable, and always responsive to our questions and concerns. We also want to give special thanks to the dedicated caretakers Yolanda, Charles, and Amanda, who treat our parents with such patience, kindness, and respect every single day. They go above and beyond to make the residents feel safe and valued. We also want to give a special shout-out to Tiffany, the housekeeper, and Richard in maintenance for keeping everything spotless and in great shape and being there whenever we need anything. To all the other members who we haven’t met yet, everyone is doing a great job. The memory care program is well thought out, and we’ve seen our parents become more engaged and settled since moving in. The secure, thoughtfully designed space gives us complete peace of mind, while the staff’s consistent warmth makes all the difference. We highly recommend The Delaney in Georgetown to any family looking for quality memory care.
