My eight years at the Crossing at Riverside have given me a profound appreciation for the care and commitment of the staff. Knowing the level of dedication they bring daily, there was no question that this was the right place for my mom's rehabilitation after her hip fracture. The peace of mind that comes from this familiarity, coupled with the truly wonderful care she's receiving – like the therapists' patience during her exercises and the nurses' aides' attentiveness to her needs – has been immense.

My mother was treated so badly I had to move her to another facility before something really bad happened. The RN and DON wouldn't allow my mother to have her medicine that a doctor prescribed her. Now she has it back in the new facility and is currently doing well. Same doctor gave her back the medicine the same day she got to the new facility and it's working and staying on without any problems. Don't make excuses and take better care of your residents. My mother did have a few great nurses and CNA's that cared and did what was best for my mother. But yet the DON Maleei House and Elizabeth Russell anew RN out of nursing school didn't seem to care about the welfare of my mother. I would never recommend The Crossing to anyone under these circumstances.

My sister went for rehab and stayed on the LTC hall for several months after an acute illness. The staff and everyone was so nice and took absolutely wonderful care of her! We just can't say enough good things about them from nurses, aides, office staff - they were all so great. We were blessed by the care they gave to my sister and would definitely recommend this facility.

My aunt had the best experience at The Crossing. She dearly loved both the staff & residents. She loved the food and the activities! She also loved the facility at Christmas time. We were thankful to know she was safe, taken care of and happy!

Both my mother and my sister have received wonderful, compassionate care at The Crossing! The therapists in the rehab unit are awesome and helped both of them get stronger after debilitating illness/injury. Both of them also came into the facility needing wound care, and the team that managed that was fantastic as well.
