My review is not for Crestone itself, it's for Arrow who owns and operates Crestone. So Arrow, read closely. My mother has been a resident since December 2024. I have chosen to keep her there due to the location. Also, knowing moving her would completely confuse and wouldn't be good for her at this point. I have watched MANY good employees come and go, which is so frustrating for those of us who build so many good relationships with staff. You have run so many wonderful people out of there. The turnover is ridiculous. I am way disappointed with the people who have left on their own or those you have chosen to let go. You don't have happy staff members and it shows. My mother is taken care of by the amazing Whitney and Kamryn. Those are just two that I will mention. My extra star in this review is for them, otherwise you would get one star. Start appreciating your employees, Arrow!!! They work hard for these residents and their families. I hope I start seeing some improvement in keeping good people. The lack of appreciation for the people you have working for you is disheartening.

After initially posting 5 stars - I felt the need to update as the experience is no longer that. Lot of staff turnover, no wait staff, what was originally a restaurant would be generous for an elementary school. Sad as costs go up but service goes down. Nobody takes responsibility - just responses of ‘we know’. I feel bad I put my parents in this situation.

The Orchard has the worst food ever. I wouldn't even let my dog eat this food. The Culinary Director (at Olathe, KS) doesn't can about the residents or staff. He comes with no cooking experience and it definitely shows. He doesn't know how to treat the staff with respect.<br>Shame on upper management for letting this happen! If they really know how bad it really is, I feel very sorry of their own family if this is how they treat them.

Beautifully-appointed facility with a friendly, caring staff. Lots of resident engagement opportunities and amenities, and I'd recommend the Crestone in a heartbeat.<br><br>So why only 4 stars instead of 5? It's because the food quality doesn't match the expectations of the resort-like atmosphere.<br><br>Senior living facility kitchens aren't restaurants - despite appearances, you must lower your expectations. Since a resident can order any time of day until 7p, the kitchen never knows 'when' or 'how many' will be seated at any given time. Perhaps meals are prepared in advance and kept warm throughout the day. Just know going in that your 'palette' be disappointed most of the time, but you'll never do without nourishment!<br><br>Overall, as senior living places go, this is a top-notch facility that will impress you the moment you arrive.
