The staff that takes care of the resident are wonderful; they were very helpful to my father. The kitchen staff is also wonderful. The bad part of this facility is the management. The director and assistant director are absolutely terrible at communication and are not good at relaying vital information. Trying to get a text or call back from management took forever. Please trust me when I tell you there are much better assisted living places in the Springfield area other than this one. We ended up taking my father to Mill Creek Alzheimer's home and the difference between their management and The Carriages is night and day.<br>Please do yourself a favor and look at other places until the Carriages gets new management.
