If you’re looking for a facility that truly puts resident safety and well-being first, this is not it. From personal experience, I can say this place operates on fear, coverups, and reputation management—not care, transparency, or accountability. I reported serious issues, including medication errors that directly impacted resident health, and was treated as a burden for doing so. After advocating for basic resident safety, I became a scapegoat. Leadership made no effort to investigate abuse reports properly and instead reinstated staff who had previously been terminated for misconduct. There’s a culture of intimidation here that silences good staff and leaves families in the dark. People are afraid to speak up because their jobs are on the line for telling the truth. This isn’t meant to be inflammatory—it’s meant to be honest. If you’re thinking about placing your loved one here, think twice. There are better options, and this facility’s track record suggests it may not be around much longer.

If I could give this place zero stars I would,my mother was moved their straight from the hospital and the same night she was their she fell out of her bed reaching for the remote and nobody came to her nor even checked on her with her yelling for help for over an hour and a half and this evening they put her in her wheelchair and had her in it til 9pm when she had been asking to be put in her bed because she was hurting no place should be operating with this kind of behavior they need to think how they would want their family to be cared for this is soo uncalled for

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have been fighting with management for over a month trying to get my resident transferred into a different facility. Calls go unreturned, information is never sent. The rails of the bed they have my resident in is literally covered in pipe insulation and electrical tape. The clothes I get for my resident, clearly marked with their name, come up missing. I literally bought my resident three outfits and a package of socks, all labeled with their name, and they have managed to lose or displace every single item. The food is slop, literally. Every single employee at this place acts like they have a huge chip on their shoulder and one even went as far as calling my husband "trash". If I had known what I knew now when I put my resident here, I would've definitely put my resident elsewhere.

They give such good care of the residents and do all they can to see they are comfortable. And they try to keep the families informed of the residence needs or problems THANKS to the staff at DeQuincy Care Center!
