I’d like an explanation as to why an employee from this facility thought it was appropriate to come outside and shout at me for throwing away a plastic bag into an outdoor trash can.

My grandfather has been here for awhile, staff doesn't check on him enough bed was soiled many times while he laid in it! When he refuses to eat ( he has dementia ) they just say " ok " and leave him without a meal all day, he has fallen a couple times ( them knowing he's a fall risk ) whenever they choose to check on him they have found him laying on the floor for God knows how long. They don't do anything unless family is there watching them. He got UTI and pneumonia while he was there and now he only has days to live. They don't care about your family members here! They haven't even called to check up on my grandfather but they will call to make sure you paid them!!!!! Absolutely disgusted by how my grandfather has been treated, if they where more caring and check on my grandfather maybe he wouldn't have fell and laid there for how many hours. Maybe if they made sure he was eating and taking fluids instead of letting there residents or whoever steal his stuff ( yes we had to start locking up his stuff ) maybe he wouldn't have gotten a UTI, if they made sure he was getting the right care. They just let him sleep all day unless family is there or the head boss then they do as they're told. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place, this was supposed to be my grandfathers place to be peaceful and die with dignity. Not at a hospital dying in there care. He was healthy when he first arrived he had many years to go and because of there carelessness and lack of professionalism with there duties he wouldn't be in the position where myself and my family have to say there goodbyes and watch him die! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY!! They even denied us having a camera placed in his room to catch whoever stealing his stuff they didn't wanna get there neglect on a resident caught on camera! When my grandfather was paying thousands a month for such poor care we couldn't even put a camera in his room to catch who was stealing his stuff but I think it was more so we couldn't watch the workers neglecting cares!! Mind you I used to work at nursing homes they do not care if your residence have cameras in there room! They only care if they're trying to hide something. Very suspicious. The Alton caused my grandfathers downhill spiral to death with there neglect and carelessness.
