My mother-in-law is comfortable at the Abbey. She feels like part of a family and the units feel like guest rooms at a country manor. Food is included, so she doesn't have to cook or do much grocery shopping. During quarantine they are delivering meal trays to the rooms. Rides are provided to medical appointments, which is critical to persons that don't drive. The staff is very safety conscious and supportive. This is a great deal for the price.

I write this as the daughter of a new resident of The Abbey. My mother moved in during 2020 and loves it. She's thriving with the community around her, having her own private space, and the nutritious meals. She also appreciates the shared spaces, like the library and the computer station. I've been impressed with The Abbey's thoughtful approach to the pandemic and keeping residents safe.

My mother moved into the Abbey a few months ago, after carefully researching every possible option. She loves it. Even though the facility has operated in a curtailed manner due to the pandemic, she has appreciated the sense of community among the residents. It’s so nice to finally see her happy where she lives. I am comforted by the measures taken to keep everyone safe and healthy.

I took a tour of The Abbey and saw several of the apartments. They are small but efficiently arranged. Each apartment has unique features and some have amazing views. I enjoyed a delicious meal and met some of the residents and staff. Had a really good time and am thinking strongly of applying there in a few years. Its nice to know there is a friendly, comfortable place to go.

My husband and I have lived at the Eugene Abbey for about 11 years. We chose it because of the convenient location to downtown and the public library as well as the Life-Long Learning program in Eugene. We appreciate the secure covered parking available while we are driving our car but at some point we may use the public bus which stops in front. The food at the Abbey is wonderful. There is wide choice available and the chef is exceptional. I can't praise the virtues of the Abbey enough. Our apartment is well laid out and convenient. The people here are friendly, interesting and helpful. It is a great place for us over our long-time residency here.
