The customer service is awful. The night shift workers aren't helpful. They catch an attitude if you ask them for anything. They don't check the trash on a regular basis, and they don't always respond when patients press the red button for help in a timely manner.

Mom was here for 2 weeks post surgery and the staff from admission through discharge were very accommodating, professional, supportive and endearing. They listened to mom's desires and concerns making her feel heard/seen. The room and ensuite were big and beautiful. The chef prepared meals were flavorful and amended to moms dietary needs. The therapist were attentive and encouraging of her development. Especially Buddy the therapy dog that mom stills talks about. The nurses & CNA/GNAs treated her like family. The facilities staff were so attentive and chatted with mom which made her feel more a part of a community. I just could not have located a better facility. The admin staff understood my apprehension and gave me comfort in a time I was generally overwhelmed. I recommend for anyone needing rehab.

My mother spent three weeks here after being discharged from Northside Hospital. The staff couldn’t of been any nicer and I’m pretty sure she’s actually gaining weight with all the good food that they fed her while she was there. The physical therapy department is excellent and they’ve got her back on her feet and she will be discharged next week. We have a status update meetings and they help you work through the paperwork with Medicare. I only wish it was more organized so she can attend all of the good events that they have here. They also have excellent visiting hours. It’s a scary process to go through especially when you read some of the reviews at some of these places. But I can say that we were really lucky that we were able to get my Mom in here and I would not hesitate to bring her back to the Terraces.

First of all, my heart goes out to anyone who is having to find a skilled nursing facility for their loved one. This is an incredibly difficult and challenging time for any family, and I pray that your loved one makes a full recovery. Everyone entering a skilled nursing facility has a unique story and requires different levels of care. The most important thing, in my limited experience, is to find the facility with the care that is right for your situation. I'm writing this review because our experience at the Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place is worthy of five stars. My family is incredibly grateful to everyone there for the care they gave to my Dad to get him back on his feet and at home. After four weeks in the ICU for a lung infection followed by two weeks in the hospital and then another two weeks at a rehab facility, my Dad entered the Terraces as a very sick man. He was on oxygen, had lost 35 pounds, and could barely walk a few steps. After 6 weeks at the Terraces, Dad is off of oxygen, has gained back 20 pounds and can walk without any assistance. Like any recovery or hospitalization it was not without ups and downs, but standing on the other side of a very scary 100 days, I can say with complete confidence the Terraces gave Dad his life back. The facilities at the Terraces are the very best in Atlanta - brand new, state of the art, clean, and bright. The therapy room, private dining room and kitchen on each floor are equal in quality to a 5 star hotel. The rooms are big, all singles, and have a lovely en suite bathroom. My Dad occasionally complained about the food, but he was working with a speech and swallow therapist at the time so his menu was limited. And any time my Dad needed new equipment, they were quick to order it. Most importantly, the people at the Terraces have a heart for this work and truly "loved" my Dad back to health. The doctors - Dr Kahn and Dr Footman - were exceptional, available, helpful, and thoughtful every step of the way. The nurses and techs got to know my Dad and met him where he was in his recovery and adjusted their style of care and schedules to what made him the most comfortable. And the therapist (physical, occupational, speech and swallow) are clearly the best in their respective fields. Brooks, Tanner and Larson really pushed my Dad in 6 weeks to recover and get stronger, so he could make a full recovery and walk out of the Terraces on his own two feet. One caveat that I'll add is that not all the staff were our favorite. But, the administration was willing to listen to our concerns and make adjustments as they were able. And like any new operation, there were some growing pains. (Make sure you request a room with cable!) Overall, we're incredibly grateful to the Terraces and everyone there - Kevin, Soukey, Tia, Sheena, Nadine, Valerie, Precious, Claudia, Fatima, and our favorite, Deborah - gave us our Dad/husband/grandfather/brother/uncle/friend back, and for that, we are forever grateful. - A daughter of a graduated patient at the Terraces

The Terraces has only been open for 6 months. It is a beautiful facility as anyone can see from their video. I am writing a review because the people are 5 stars to me. I have been in short term rehab twice this year. The first time following 2 surgeries at Emory I stayed for 15 days. Lucky timing and persistent research by my daughter found me a spot at The Terraces. I had a very positive experience with both the physical therapy and occupational therapy teams. The RNs and CNAs helped lift my spirits. Precious Evans came in my room day after day and brought only light and love with her. The administrative staff and doctors handled any and all issues relating to medicines or questions that needed answering. The 2nd time only 20 days after I'd left I ended up back at The Terraces due to a fractured femur. I was upset to be needing a rehab facility again but I certainly had no hesitation about where to go.
