To the entire staff,<br><br>Now that I’ve been home for just over a month and learning how to feed and care for myself after most of the recovery. I’ve had time to reflect on everything it took to get me to this point. I realize more than ever that I would not be where I am today without the care, patience, and dedication each of you showed me during my stay.<br><br>Every part of the team played a role in my healing.<br>• Nurses and CNAs — your steady support, kindness, and attention carried me through the toughest days. With special mentions to Quincy for my showers and care, Porsha, Amber, Tatum, Elisabeth, Stacey RN and others.<br><br>• Therapists — physical— you challenged me, encouraged me, and helped me regain strength I wasn’t sure I’d ever get back. Special mention to Michael for teaching me how to walking again. Also they gave me cloths to wear while I was there.<br><br>• Medical staff — your kindness and help made it easer for me to feel safe taking what you were giving me. The medication delivery was all over the place and 1 time almost overdosed me big time with heart meds. Several times I was given medicine that I should not have gotten. I always asked what they were giving me because most of it looks different than the same meds I take at home.<br>The doctor was awful, I couldn't understand her, she was short with me and very unkind. She refused to send me home with any pain medication after a fractured pelvis.<br><br>• Housekeeping, dietary, and support staff — your work made my daily life cleaner, safer, and more comfortable, even when I couldn’t do much for myself. Special thanks to Stevie, Sharon, David and others for the wonderful gluten free food you made just for me. The cleaning staff did a pretty good job.<br>• Activities and social services — you brought moments of joy and connection that made a real difference in my spirit. Special thanks to Norma.<br><br>• Administration and front desk — your warm greetings and helpfulness made the center feel welcoming from the moment I arrived. Again Norma and a super thanks to Monica for visiting with me every day to make sure things were going well. She was kind and made me feel welcome. She goes over and above to make us feel good in bad times.<br><br>} Now for the business - If I ever or anyone I know needs to go to a rehab center this is the ONLY place I would recommend. It's clean, large single rooms, nice bathrooms & showers, large dinning room. The TV listings were wrong when I got there and asked for it to be fixed and it was. Then a rain storm knocked out the TV for a few hours and after it all channels were messed up, until I got the maintenance man to fix it.<br><br>Being home has reminded me just how far I’ve come — and how much of that progress is because of you. You didn’t just treat my medical needs; you treated me with dignity, compassion, and genuine care. That stays with a person.<br><br>Thank you for helping me get better, for believing in me, and for the countless ways you supported my recovery. Came to check on my cousin around dinner time on a Saturday. The kitchen staff delivered a great meal that actually tasted like what it purported to be. Yes, I pinched a bit to check. Thank you, kitchen staff! You rock!

Cudos to Quincy for his excellent care at Sunterra Springs during my husbands 3-1/2 weeks. He also received excellent care from Calvin on the weekends. Both were so caring and compassionate in their care. I also want to acknowledge Lisa, Riley, and Haley.
