My family had an excellent experience with Sunrise Point Health and Rehabilitation Center during my grandmother’s stay. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. The nursing team was attentive and responsive, and we always felt like our questions and concerns were taken seriously. What stood out most was the compassion. They didn’t just do their jobs, they treated her like a person, not just a patient. Her rehabilitation progress exceeded our expectations, and it was clear that the therapists were both skilled and encouraging. Communication with our family was consistent, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. No facility is perfect, but based on our experience, Sunrise Point provided a level of care and professionalism that we are truly grateful for. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking for short-term rehab or skilled nursing care for a loved one

I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for consistent, ethical, and compassionate care for their loved one. My Mother was a resident here for several years. A few months after she was admitted, the admissions staff moved her to a private room, saying that it would be "easier" for her care. However, as her Dementia progressed, the facility suddenly forced her out. It was less about her needs and more about freeing up that private room for another resident who could bring in more money. What makes this even more concerning is the lack of communication. I was called into her care plan meeting, and just one day before all this happened, nothing was said about her needing to leave. I was simply told that "she has good days and bad days". There was no warning that they were about to take immediate action on the very next day. It had been discussed a week before about moving her, but it was not an immediate action that had to take place. The staff turnover is extremely high. Over the past four years, there's been constant turnover with nurses, CNAs, administrators, and directors of nursing. That level of instability directy effects the quality of care. I had to bring in hospice just to ensure my mother had proper oversight and advocacy, which should not be necessary in a facility like this. The way her transfer was handled was especially upsetting. My mother was misled into believing I would be waiting for her at the new facility. When she arrived and realized I wasn't there, she became understandably distressed. I ultimately moved my mother to another facility where she could receive better care. Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to carefully consider their options before placing a loved one here. No family should have to experience this level of stress and heartbreak when trusting a facility with their loved one's care.

Very efficient and attentive in gathering detailed information, as well as transporting to the care facility from the hospital. Provided a week of excellent care and rehabilitation during the stay. Same efficiency and care returning Barbara back to her assisted living facility after her stay as well as follow-ups. Thanks.

Horrible place! Completely run down and in need of repairs! Dirty too. The people who worked there (with the exception of a few) kept me waiting for hours past due on my meds while we were all crying out for them! The shower was brutal with either the water temp. Being scalding or too cold! One of the workers told me that they need a plumber... Ya think?!!! I constantly had my clothes "lost" whenever laundry was being done. I experienced the attitudes of disrespect and contempt when asking for something, the facial expressions said it too. Never again will I go there! Here's an update: when I was there, a woman worker, took my meds out of my purse and told meThey would give them to me upon my discharge. They never did! Today, I had my nurse call and ask them for the meds. They denied everything!!! They denied taking them! Gaslight much! Shut this place down!

The Annual Family Fall Dinner was excellent. Many people, including Mr. Cole de Klerk, Tiffany Bishop, and Kay Brown, and the entire administration, were professional, courteous, and polite. Most importantly, I wanted to thank you again for the excellent care you provided my brother while under your professional care.
