Sungarden Villa

Sungarden Villa is a residential assisted living community in Citrus Heights, California, serving residents 60 years and older who need assistance with daily living but do not require skilled nursing care. The family-owned facility has been operating in elderly care for over 14 years and provides care on an age-in-place basis.

The community offers 24-hour, 7-day-a-week continuous care and supervision. Core services include assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, and mobility tasks. Residents receive three nutritionally balanced meals and two snacks daily, with modified diets available as prescribed by physicians. Medication management, assistance with medical and dental appointments, and transportation support are included in the basic service package.

Personalized programming is a focus, with individualized recreational activities designed to meet physical, social, and spiritual needs, as well as individualized exercise programs. The community provides daily room and bathroom cleaning, weekly laundry service, and hygiene items. Residents may personalize their rooms with their own furnishings, or the facility provides bed, nightstand, dresser, rug, lamp, chair, and television.

Optional services include wheelchair-accessible non-emergency transportation, on-site hair and nail services, medication pickup and copayment assistance, incontinence product supply based on individual needs, private phone lines, enhanced HD television, and personalized meal plans not prescribed for medical necessity. The facility recently expanded with six additional private rooms with private bathrooms.
