THEY ARE INFESTED WITH BED BUGS! ITS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LEAVE YOUR ELDERLY LOVED ONES. THEY NEGLECT THEIR RESIDENTS AND IN TURN ABUSE THEM BY NOT TREATING OR GETTING RID OF THE BED BUGS SOMEONE NEEDS TO REPORT THIS FACILITY ASAP!

Although some may feel we are not a fit for family others dont feel the same we try our best to provide for our residents. We are open for tours to all possible residents and if anyone have questions we are always here to answer. We have delt with may families that yell and scream and cuss us out but it dose not effect the way we treat our residents. although we can not make everyone happy we do indeed try you will just have to come see for yourself.

This place is tied to Clara Manor. This place is deplorable my brother was there less than a week. There was blood on the window shade and when asked the staff they would not give us an answer. The people who works there are ex cons. They could care less about the patients. Please do not put you love ones in this place not Clara Manor. LaQueshia a case worker sent my brother there and when we ask her for a list of rehabilitation places she failed to give us that list because these places are owned by the same company. Disgusting.

I planned to come visit with some seniors to talk and learn for awhile. I called in advance and the receptionist became rude when I said I was not with a group, and I wanted to know if it was allowed to have a personal visit of that nature. When asked if I had said something that bothered her she replied “You can come speak with an administrator on Monday”. I asked again if I had said anything that bothered her, and she hung up on me with no reply. Seems scary that this attitude is the first line of contact. Based on that I am curious how residents are treated. I assume the lack of understanding and politeness extends passed what I experienced.

Personally summit nursing home is a very nice place. I spent 2 1/2 years there. I like summit nursing homes administrator, she,s a very cool and hip chick. And the staff are nice enough as well. Any miss understanding,s I may have had with this place were souly of my own doing. People are too quick to give some nursing homes a bad name, but what you have to understand is that the residents that stay in these places are at times a real terror for the staff to put up with. That in no way is the nursing homes fault!
