I was searching for a place that offered assisted living. I had visited 3 or 4 and really liked Summit Hill Living on Old Hudson Road in St. Paul. I met with the Marketing Director, Carly, who was so helpful and didn't rush me. She helped me with all my questions and then some. She went over and above anything I had experienced prior. Most places didn't return any of my phone calls, but Carly returned all my calls quickly.<br><br>The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and the residents are awesome!!<br><br>Thank so much Carly for making this experience painless! We recently relocated my disabled brother to Summit Hill Senior Living and we can't say enough about how great the experience has been to date. Our first contact was with Carly, the Director of Marketing, an incredibly warm and thoughtful young lady who made us feel instantly welcome, but offered so much more than "sales" services. She, along with acting Director of Nursing Pheng Thao moved heaven and earth to swiftly facilitate the move including managing the complex medical care details that are critical for aging folks. Their attention to detail, starting with a ""Welcome Home" sign and basket of goodies for him has made my brother feel at home and cared for, already. The food is great, the staff efficient and cheerful, and the atmosphere homey. I am a resident at Summit Hill Senior Living. On Friday April 17th at 11:10pm a nurse opened my door - apparently to check on me. This has happened numerous times before. I find this very annoying because it startles me, wakes me up, and I have trouble getting back to sleep because I am so annoyed.

Terrible place to have a family member. My mom never gets her medication on time, she asked for help fixing her bed that was broken and was told its not his job. And that she can sleep on the floor.

I flew into town a few weeks ago to see my parents. I was told this community takes the state waiver and would be an option for my parents. I didn’t have a tour scheduled but Kristina the director was nice enough to show me around. Kristina did her best to explain the state wavier process to me. Residents and staffs were very friendly.
