My Dad has been in Pioneer Manor since July, and he is thriving! He had been in Heritage Community/Dunaway Manor for over 10 years with Dementia. I have always heard great things about Pioneer, so I was looking up their number when I got the call that Dunaway was closing. It was after business hours, so I left a message. Linda, the wonderful administrator, called me back early the next morning. They came and evaluated Dad, and she called me soon after saying that they absolutely would take him. He is gaining weight, they take him to music, activities, dress him every day, and he goes to eat in their dining room 3x a day. I have not met or seen one person who looks or acts like they don’t love their job! They take amazing care of Dad and all of their residents! That comes from having the great administration/leaders that they have! Hindsight is 20/20-but I wish that we would have moved him up there a few years ago! We could not be happier with this facility, it’s a wonderful place! The crazy thing is-it’s cheaper than Dunaway Manor, and it’s 100x nicer. It’s spotless!! Thank you to every single one of you who work here, you are all amazing and caring people. It does NOT go unnoticed! ♥️

We have a family member we took to see this facility. She was so excited! The administrator made the tour time and date. She was belittling to my self and my step mom. Shortly after this encounter, my step mom was admitted for several days and then went to a swing bed facility. She still wanted to go to this facility. We called left messages finding out the administrator was gone until Monday. We left more than one message. She never returned a phone call , not once did she acknowledge we needed information about possible admission. Very rude, unprofessional and sad that we don’t need Medicare to be billed this was a self pay situation. You should be ashamed.

Amazing place and great staff. More like a 5 star hotel than a care home.
