This hospital and surgery center is very clean, efficient, and welcoming! There were no hoops to jump through for paperwork and admissions. Pretty cut and dry and not complicated. I had two procedures done and ALL nurses were exceptional and kind. Dr. Barron is an amazing surgeon as well as a fun personality. Very professional, yet also very friendly. I will definitely be using Southwest from here on out for all my family. So thankful for them.

Dr. Zaki G. Ibrahim Orthopedic and sports medicine. He was very arrogant. He would ask a question and then not let me answer it. He wouldn't let me give him my full medical history, he cut me off after I told him one thing. I told him another medical problem. Then he moved on without hearing the rest. He told me my back problems were because of my weight, 3 times. Even when I tried to explain to him my weight gain started after my back pain. He told me my spine was healthy. Even though I have MRI report that shows I have a bulging disc and arthritis. He trash talked my family doctor and physical therapist without knowing very much information. He told me (without me asking or saying anything) that he could send me for a second opinion; he could refer me to his colleagues in Colorado. I am getting a second opinion. As I walked out of his office I immediately called my family doctor to refer me to someone else. Someone a lot closer than Colorado. I definitely will not recommend him to anyone. The office also gave me another patience paper stapled to mine. I called and spoke with them about the HIPPA violation, hopefully it is taken care of.

This hospital doesn't even deserve one star. My dad had surgery and not once did they go check on him for anything!! Me and my sisters had to do their job for them. They should be ashamed of themselves. They wouldn't even give him is medication, we had to go look for the nurses.

I would prefer to leave a zero star review but it won’t let me. So here goes. My husband broke his leg in 2024. He had surgery the next day and a couple mornings after surgery, a tech came in at 5:00 am to get blood and sat not just on the bed but on my husbands broken leg! When he was discharged a few days later, the nurses that were giving him his discharge instructions told him not to wear his stabilizer because it was causing heat blisters. (He wore it most of the time anyway because his doctor had told him to and his discharge papers said to.) The when they were “helping” him into the car, they practically shoved him into the seat, forced him to bend his leg (he wasn’t supposed to) and when he yelled in pain, they threw their hands up, muttered that they didn’t want to deal with this and walked away, leaving me to finish getting him settled! 😡 My husband ended up getting a very bad infection and his leg healed off set! I know it wasn’t Dr. Kawtharani’s fault because he has been wonderful! To this day, his leg is offset and he walks with a very bad limp. I truly believe it is because of the care he didn’t receive after surgery.

Update : went to OKC at Mercy and they immediately sent me for a CT scan . Ct didn’t look good so they sent me to MRI which looked suspicious also . Found out it is a tumor on the artery that goes to my stomach which was biopsied , told yesterday it is Mastic breast cancer. Went in for severe stomach problems Nov 23 . Met with Dr Neef , he was very kind and gave me medication, told me to see my regular Dr. on Monday . She is excellent and did everything she could think of . Dec 5 had to go back to ER . Saw Dr Neef again and he said he’d do everything he could. The test for gallbladder health is only done on Mon.and Thursday but he said he’d at least have a surgeon, Dr Peter Phan take a look , Dr Phan told me I needed to relax and take time for myself . He quoted Bible verses and evidently didn’t want to deal with me . He gaslit me like a pro ! Please go anywhere else if you are sick .
