My 96-year-old mother recently passed away while residing at Sterling Oaks. I want to thank the Sterling Oaks staff for the compassionate, excellent care they provided.
She made friends with other residents, and they would socialize at many of the social activities.
Family members would also participate in some of the social activities. One day my brother and I were playing bingo with my mother and her roommate. He was teasing me that he had more wins than me. That’s the competitive nature trait we inherited from our mother.
For most of her stay, my mother resided in hall 200. I would like to thank all the staff of that hall who treated my mother with kindness and gentleness. I would like to give a shout out to CNA Alieu who took care of my mother the longest. He is very kind and compassionate and takes good care of his patients. He was a godsend to our mother.
I would like to thank LVN Belinda and Kim (100 hall) who always answer my questions and listen to my concerns about what was going on with my mother.
I would also like to thank CNA Javonte and CMA Monsvrat who bought a smile to her face.
I will never forget all the staff who came and shared their kind feelings about my mother. It was wonderful to hear.
