Sterling Care Assisted Living

Sterling Care Kosher Assisted Living is a 16-bed assisted living community located in Pikesville, Maryland, in the heart of the Baltimore Jewish community. The custom-built residence offers assisted living care with a focus on personalized, individualized attention in a small, intimate environment where residents are treated as family members.

The community is locally owned and operated by a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who are on-site daily. Staff members are trained in First Aid, CPR, and Dementia Care, and provide comprehensive nursing services, medication administration, and assistance with activities of daily living. The facility works well with seniors who need close supervision and have challenging physical and psychological needs.

Sterling Care offers daily housekeeping and private laundry services, all-private rooms with cable TV and free WiFi, and a personal care room for hairdresser and podiatry visits. The residence features three-sided patios for fresh air access and is fully wheelchair accessible. All food is prepared in separate kosher kitchens for meat and dairy. Therapeutic services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available as recommended by physicians.

The community maintains strong ties to Jewish life and observance, with wheelchair-accessible services at an adjacent synagogue next door and programming that includes Shabbos and holiday meals, Torah study, candle lighting, and Jewish cultural events. A full-time Activities Coordinator oversees volunteer programs, weekly performances, and presentations designed to keep residents stimulated and engaged throughout the day.
