I recently had hip surgery in June 2026 and was admitted to St John’s Nursing Center for 10 days to recover and receive PT and OT. The facility is clean, bright and airy. The kitchen staff was very accommodating as I’m quite fussy about certain foods. The staff are exceptional to include Dr Jules, Social Worker Asia, RN Nurse Shaline, CNA Dee of the 2nd floor North wing and a slew of other staff members who were amazing. Sorry I can’t remember all their names. Whilst my stay was short it was memorable because I’ve always heard negative stories about rehabs. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone who’s looking for that alert and attentive care. Give thanks St John’s, you guys ROCK!!!!

The care and compassion my mom has received at St. John's Nursing Home has been outstanding. The staff is kind, attentive, and genuinely treats residents like family. They always respond to my requests promptly and make sure to keep me updated on my mother’s care, which gives our family real peace of mind. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-managed, and we’re truly grateful for the professionalism, patience, and support they provide every day.

Before bringing my parents to St. John’s, I read a lot of negative reviews and was honestly concerned. But after touring the facility and now having two family members cared for here, I can confidently say those reviews did not reflect the reality I experienced. As a healthcare professional, I understand how these environments work. Rehab centers are not hotels. They are clinical settings caring for people who are often very sick, sometimes incontinent, and recovering from major medical events. Some reviewers seem to misunderstand that. Yes, you may occasionally smell something unpleasant, but that is part of the nature of this level of care. What matters is that the staff respond quickly, and at St. John’s, they do. I also noticed several complaints online about the food. What many people don’t realize is that meals in rehab facilities follow medical diets, safety guidelines, and physician orders. If something isn’t working for a patient, the dietitian is available to discuss alternatives, adjust preferences, and help find options that meet both nutritional needs and personal tastes. Complaints about food are understandable, but they are also easily addressed if you communicate with the team. The nurses, aides, therapists, and administrators have been consistently kind, respectful, and attentive. Any time I approached them with a question or concern, they addressed it. They cared for my mother after a serious lung infection and helped her regain her strength through their excellent PT and OT department. She left functioning close to her baseline, which is a testament to how hard the rehab team worked. My father is now recovering here after a hip fracture, and the rehab team has been just as dedicated. Pushing him appropriately, aligning goals with me, and keeping his recovery on track. I owe a lot to St. John’s. If you choose this facility, stay engaged, communicate openly, and set realistic expectations for your loved one’s recovery. My family’s experience has been nothing but positive, and I’m truly grateful.

My experience with St. John’s Nursing Center was extremely disappointing and concerning. From the moment we arrived, the facility did not feel clean or well-maintained. The level of care and attention given to patients was not what we expected during such a vulnerable time. Staff responsiveness felt lacking, and overall, the environment did not provide a sense of comfort or confidence in the care being delivered. This is a place families trust with their loved ones during recovery, and unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or compassion that should come with that responsibility. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this facility to visit in person, ask detailed questions, and carefully evaluate whether it meets their expectations before making a decision.

i recently spent 18 days in St. john’s Nursing Rehabilitation Center and i had a positive experience. i felt that both the nursing and therapy staff were professional, conscientious, and caring to my needs. The only difficulty i noticed were with patients who were struggling with memory care, and i think that type of situation could have more difficulties no matter what nursing facility they were in. The nursing aides were wonderful. The entertainment staff did a great job in decorating and getting patients involved in fun events. Diane G
