My husband and I moved to St. George Village in December 2023 from southwest Georgia. We wanted to live in a Catholic community where we would also have better access to medical care as well as the Atlanta airport. Our move was flawless because of the wonderful support we had from the marketing team throughout our time on the waitlist and on our actual move in date. We have met so many interesting people in the other residents and the care partners here are just what they are called--very caring. We are so pleased we chose St. George Village!

There were many people in St. George Village involved with my move from New York several months ago. The first is Dawn Zawoysky, the Sales Manager, who helped my daughter and me from the very beginning - meeting with my daughter many times in Roswell and then following through when I was able to visit St. George Village. With much appreciation I had my first new friend and she is delightful. As is the practice for new people moving into an apartment, my apartment was gutted before my move. With Dawn and my daughters' help, I was able to select wall colors and flooring for all rooms, have new kitchen appliances, chandeliers, bathroom fixtures and much more! The day after the movers left, I was fortunate enough to have two important women visit me. We talked for a few minutes and then they proceeded to empty and remove most of my huge boxes, hang many of my pictures, and put my lamps and decorations on my tables. These women were professionals.<br><br>Now it has been several more months since I have lived in my new home and I absolutely love it. The residents here are very friendly and the employees are ready to help you whenever needed. Some employees have even been here almost 20 years! The perfect place for me to live was definitely St. George Village. I truly have been blessed. Dawn made sure I had all the information I would need to get involved in the activities, answered all my questions and introduced me to my lovely mentor. When I first arrived at St. George Village, I was immediately impressed with the landscaping. This landscaping crew works daily to maintain St. George Village taking care of the flowers, bushes, trees, lawns... It is always picture-perfect.<br><br>The beautiful courtyard in St. George Village can be seen from all of the main floor hallways. It has many wooden benches ready for the residents and their friends so they can enjoy one another's company. There is a great walking trail from the courtyard which follows the spectacular lake. On this walking trail residents with their friends can stop and play Bocce Ball on a regulation size court. I have enjoyed playing this with my grandchildren. A few feet beyond is a putting green which my grandson has enjoyed many times. Following the walking trail, you will pass the individual gardens where residents have planted vegetables and/or flowers. Then it's on to a well designed wooden gazebo. This is complete with a wooden bench where you can sit and relax and appreciate the view. Of course enjoying the fresh air and meeting and exchanging stories with other residents is always a plus. I have taken this walking trail many times and will continue. I love the outdoors!<br><br>Now a little about a few of the many indoor opportunities that I have enjoyed. There is a wonderful Fitness Center with new State-Of-The-Art Fitness Machines and a terrific Coordinator. Twice a week Tai Chi is offered with additional time for both Healthy Heart Chair Cardio and Strengthening using Therabands. The instructor is a Tai Chi Master. In the auditorium there is Line Dancing with a lovely qualified instructor. Friday night is movie night with many good and new movies. In the auditorium there are also concerts, fashion shows... even a Singalong with a professional pianist. A weekly calendar is placed in all residential mailboxes informing residents of the activities scheduled including date, time and location.<br><br>St. George Village is a well organized up-scale senior retirement community in an absolutely beautiful location. I am very proud and delighted that I am a resident here.
