My mother wanted to move to Grinnell to be around me and the rest of our family including my wife, 5 kids and 12 grandchildren. She is 88 years old and drives where she needs to go. She bought a home directly across from the St. Francis Manor. The Staff are super accommodating and friendly. The homes are in very good shape and the residents are extremely nice. I am extremely relieved and happy that she has such a nice place to live. The only problem she has had is figuring out how to operate her laptop without getting it all goofed up. LOL

We purchased a single-family home and moved back to Iowa and Seeland Park in 2019. We are very pleased with our home and its location. Everything is one on level, so we don’t have to contend with stairs. Seeland Park is a very friendly place to live with many amenities and opportunities to meet and socialize with the other residents. The administrative and maintenance personnel are super friendly and accommodating with almost every request answered the same day. We do mow our own yard but have the option having them mow it if we desire and it is a comfort not having to shovel snow in the winter! Seeland Park is a great place to live. Come and check it out!

When my parents decided to move into the Seeland Park senior community it was a relief to know they would be close to all the amenities they would need: grocery stores, retail stores, church, restaurants, doctor offices and hospital. What I did not realize is how much having caring neighbors and dedicated maintenance staff of Seeland Park would provide for my parents. Neighborhood gatherings and responsive maintenance staff to every household need imaginable gave me peace of mind they were well looked after. Endless stories of friendships developed with sharing a cup of coffee or a specially made cookie just for them. If you are looking for a special place to enjoy your retirement, or if you have a senior love-one that you want to make sure is safe, cared for, and access to so many activities they forget to call you! This little jewel is a precious find. My father has since moved to St. Francis Manor care facility, while my mother stays in her home that is less than a blocks walk, providing them both time together on a daily basis. The nurses and staff at the manor are truly the diamonds of senior care.

I moved to Grinnell and Seeland Park in the spring of 2019. I'm originally from northern Iowa but my children and I found it impossible for me to stay in the family home after my husband passed. My daughter, from Grinnell, brought some interesting information about retirement communities in the Grinnell area and to this day I am so happy that we chose Seeland Park! Staff members made settling in easy, familiar activities made filling free time and meeting new friends even easier and finally, knowing that my family was happy with my new lifestyle and my adjustment there was very important to me. WE ARE ALL HAPPY WITH SEELAND PARK, MY NEW HOME!

My Grandma Ellen started out at Seeland Park. She is now in Hammond Place. She has received amazing care in both places. 2020 was a challenge but the staff was amazing to keep residents busy. My Grandma Jeanette was a resident at St. Francis. I feel they went above and beyond to keep her active. She lived there for 3 years they made her very comfortable at the end as well. They also treated family with respect. Thank you for taking care of my Grandmas.
