I'm leaving Spring Arbor a five-star review here based on my own experience and that of two of my family members. I'll start by stating, especially for the benefit of people who may be facing a very difficult and costly decision to move themselves or loved ones, that there is no such thing as a perfect assisted living facility. The industry as a whole is overtaxed and understaffed. There is a lot of turnover. Family members ask staffers to step in for us to care for basic needs, and that is complicated, messy, difficult work. And the United States simply has no rational nor coherent system of elder care.<br><br>However, the staff at Spring Arbor is dedicated, professional, and compassionate. When I moved two family members in last summer, it felt as if I were entrusting them to extended family. Some staffers have left, and I know the facility is part of a larger company that has a range of properties to manage. But I've never believed the care for my loved ones has been anything less than top priority. When a small number of mistakes have been made or conflicts have arisen, Spring Arbor has contacted me immediately and engaged me with creative solutions.<br><br>Assisted living in surrounding counties is significantly more expensive. But I don't believe it's better. My loved ones are happy with Spring Arbor, and so am I.

New staff is wonderful, facility is always clean and spotless, residents are always happy and seem to really enjoy residing there
