I would never put my loved one in the memory care! The person I charged Shannon has no care for the Residents. Every time she gets approached with an issue she acts clueless of what is happening. Lately it seems like all new people on the morning shift and everything is so hectic.

Being one of the last of its kind (meaning) still traditional and family oriented they have took some toll with covid bringing forth the less then caring of individuals however they address issues and concerns immediately when brought to attention everyone there is more then happy to answer any questions or to point one in the direction of someone whom may have the answers and open door policy is an understatement Dee Owen's is an exceptional director and has a very large heart i encourage anyone having to face the decision to stop in here first

Having toured Assisted Living Facilities in Florida,Georgia and Texas, trying to find a good fit for our mom, Southern Knights checked all the boxes. It isn’t fancy, but it feels like home. Dee and the staff did an excellent job of taking care of mom’s needs. She felt loved and felt respected. The food was homemade daily, and good. They don’t have a high turnover rate like most Assisted Living facilities do. They worked well with me and my siblings and hospice to make sure she had everything she needed. Thank you Dee and staff for taking such great care of our dear mom. I miss her and miss visiting with the caregivers.

I would rate Southern Knights' memory care higher than five stars if possible. My father has been there for less than one month, but I am extremely pleased with the care he is getting. The staff is compassionate and cares about his well-being. The food looks and smells great. One of the med-techs, Lisa, is really top-notch and pays attention to his needs. He loves music and loves to dance, and the staff encourages him. The difference between Southern Knights and another nearby memory care facility is like the difference between day and night. I love this place and the staff.

We placed my father in this facility 4 months ago in assisted living, but was advised by his Dr. that he needed to be moved to memory care about 3 months later. The administration, nurses, and cvn's in both units are loving and caring and move swiftly on their own when they see special needs require attention. The memory care unit is very clean and newer and a very peaceful environment. My father made the transition smoothly and is normally very content. The care, facilities and services for the money is unbeatable, in my opinion.
