I will choose to leave names out because every single one of them knows their place and what they did. It's Unfortunate I have to even give one star. My father suffered a stroke Sept 2023 during his hospital and Rehab stay at the hospital, he was no longer smoking cigarettes, zero nicotine. South County Nursing was so kind to get my father a bed immediately. A room by himself, but had two other empty beds in his same room (they claimed because they didn't have a place to store them.) Nov 2023-my dads first week in this place and they give him cigarettes "because she understands what its like to want one and be told no". WHAT???? A man who suffered a freaking stroke but had been nicotine free nearing 45 days. They take it upon themselves to provide nicotine without a family or DOCTORS consistent. Days go by and another resident begins to steal from my dad. They're advice? Tell my dad to not leave his room. WHAT???? While you can not have breakfast/lunch/dinner anywhere but the cafeteria, he HAD to leave his room. Oh, and to go out and smoke cigarettes provided by the STAFF. Therefore, the thief continued. My dad knew who he was, as did the staff. While the stealing continued my dad would complain to staff each time. They told my father if he kept complaining about the thief that they would have to relocate him, MY DAD. Why would they remove my dad? Not the person they know is stealing. Eventually, confrontation struck between my father and this gentleman when my dad told him to stay out of his room. The staff still never moved this thief away from my dad, just told them "stay away from each other". THEIR ROOMS LITERALLY SHARED A BATHROOM. HOW WOULD THEY STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER???? During my dads stay the thieving individual assaulted me. The owners response to my bloody face "get off her property".

First off they shouldn’t even get any stars they should be shut down. They place looks like a prison from the outside with the barbed wire fence. The “front desk” is like an old school desk that someone sits at, it smells like pee as soon as you get past the double doors, the rooms are a joke and they put two people in each room. All the rooms were dark and small. There were fly traps just hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen. I was so disturbed by the facility and staff I would never put a family member in there. I can’t believe how some people have the audacity to put their loved one in such a gross place. I felt like I was in the Bates motel.

First, I would like to say I was going through a hard time in my life, and the owner, Susan gave me a chance. That being said, the employees at this nursing home are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! My family, my grandma and aunt, were both in here when I was younger...both passed away, my Aunt from choking, even though they knew she had a disability and would try shoveling the food in her mouth. I, myself, have seen some unthinkable acts of cruelty and when I oke out about it, nothing was done. Most problems stems from the drug addiction problems, that most the employees have and everyone is aware of. Not to mention the smell of urine so bad when you walk through the door, it makes you sick... but everyone has their own opinions.

Please do not bring your loved one here. Save their hard earned social security and find another location much nicer location. My grandfather had everything stolen from him constantly. It is stinky and the help is minimal.
