It's always a difficult decision to place a family member in a facility. However, Leslie the Director helped and assisted in our decision to place our father in Summerfield. Our father has adjusted wonderfully and has received excellent care while he has been with Summerfield. All of the staff, including Director Leslie, the nurses and the CNA's have been so helpful , informative and attentive to our father. We would highly recommend Summerfield to anyone with a family member who is experiencing memory issues.<br>The Machen Children

From the first day I visited Summerfield I felt the importance of healthy human contact and kindness. It was clearly on display in all aspects of the Summerfield care for the folks in need ongoing help in their declining years. It has been my personal experience now that my sister and brother-in-law are living there. They and I are fortunate Summerfield is there to help us all.

The staff at Summerfield are wonderful and will always do their best to keep your family involved and active. Leslie, Hansel, Joe, Samira, Kaelyn, Princess, are just some of the great admin and floor staff that took care of my family member.

I'll never forget this place, and the things it's done. I believe with how overpriced this place is, truth needs to be said. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and yet from what I've experienced in this place is by far the most inhumane treatment done to elderly.<br>They have taken his things, overdosed him with treatment if he would misbehave, lock them up, hide things from them, that's all I've known from experience, and it pains me that now he has been sent to the ER with 30-45 hours left to live now that he can no longer function properly after all the medication they have endorsed him. This is most sickening to me.<br>Before he used to be very self efficient; once they took him, he deteriorated quickly.<br>Sometimes I wish he could just be the same person he's always been, doing gardening, looking after everyone and watching his tv, they took everything he cherished from him, even his coca cola.<br>everything he loved most<br>I put no hatred on this place, or no one in it, but I want to speak truth, and would I say you should bring your parent, your loved oned, or anyone here.<br>Never.<br>I only wish for the elderly here to be treated with respect, and better care then what they say they "provide".<br><br>that is all I have to say, may my friend rest in peace.
