This place is horrible. A disgrace, I had to move my mother out quickly. I spent the day in her apartment. Room service food breakfast was the worst thing I've seen & tasted. We go to get lunch and come back I notice the director belittling an employee. I will say it is not worth the money. Don't come.

My parents live in the Solstice facility located in Corpus Christi, TX. I have to say, the care and service that the residents receive here is below sub-par. The maintenance crew is slow, it took my father 3 months to get his faucet fixed, when you turned it on you were showered with water and when it did get fixed he did it himself because he was tired of hearing "you are on the list". The air conditioner has yet to be fixed after them living there for quite some time. Housekeeping is bad as well, they do the "beaten paths" but never move anything such as small dining chairs to get under the kitchenette table. So there again they have to go back and sweep or mop the whole apartment. Food is horrible, 90% of the time they are given cold sandwiches which consists of bread, cold cuts and sometimes cheese. When there is another meal, it is not edible; either burned, tough, soggy or just plain nasty. In case anyone is wondering, in this facility most residents don't even eat the meals that they pay a lot of money for! Oh and they are charged for walking down and taking the food back to their rooms - so basically a take out charge which is ridiculous. So many times the elevator is not working so that strands the residents on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I often wonder what would happen if there was a large fire as a lot of them could not get out of the building. Corporate personnel come in for visits, but the worst thing is they tell everyone when they are coming. Do a surprise visit...then you would see these horrible conditions. Talk to the residents, I mean really talk to them - go door to door if you have to, don't just grab your food (which by the way that is the best meal they get all year - because they knew you were coming) and say hello to 2 or 3 people when you walk back to the office. Oh and another thing....if you think everything is that clean all the time, you are wrong - - they cleaned all of the foyer and windows about 20 minutes before you arrived! I have tried calling or even emailing the corporate office, but to get any info on where to contact someone is like looking for a needle in a haystack. So hopefully they will contact me now. Come on Solstice you have to do better!!!

This is a wonderful community. The staff really care about each, and every resident nearly every apartment is a one bedroom with a very spacious balcony.

The elevator at the location in Plano has been out for 6 weeks with no word of when it’s being fixed.

I had disappointing experiences at this senior residence, as I found the overall cleanliness to be lacking and the food quality not up to standard. Theres roches and rats in the back kitchen The housekeeping services were also very unsatisfactory, which affected the comfort of residents. Additionally, I was troubled by the rude attitude of the management staff, who seemed to treat both employees and residents without respect. I believe there is significant room for improvement in maintaining hygiene, enhancing the dining experience, and fostering a more respectful and caring environment for everyone. Kathy Quintin and Jennifer are very rude they treat residents with no respect I don't recommended this place to no one
